1754 "James Rager, son of Nathaniel Rager of Christchurch, Middlesex, Weaver, doth put himself apprentice to John Hardy, Citizen and Clockmaker of London, to learn his Art … theis eighth Day of January … 1754." [1] The indenture was enrolled on 13 January 1755. [2]
