Research Notes:

See notes for John Reed by Robert Lewis in "Ancestors and descendants of Elias Reed (1784-1857) of Balt. Co. MD". The notes suggest that III. Nelson Reed, son of II. William, was a grandson of I. John Reed, as we show. We had independently gotten back to II. William. These notes take us back to I. John. Note that there is uncertainty about IV. John Reed, son of III. Nelson Reed. [4]
