1742 On 1 of month 11, William Coate was born, recorded in a Coate family bible. [1]
1768 William Coates, perhaps this one, placed an advertisement in the Pennsylvania Gazette on 28 July that two horses had been stolen from his place in Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. [2]
