We are researching Ann Knowles, wife of Robert Revell.

Knowles was a common name listed on the Darley Dale register. [1]

1586 William Knowles was a servant to Sir Thomas Fitzherbert. [2]

1587 On 21 April, Thomas Knowle, Newbold, was sworn as a guardian [of Chesterfield]. [3]

1633 Robertus Knowles was a freeholder of Spoondon, Derbyshire. [4]

1633 Robert Knowles was a freeholder of Derbyshire - Appletree hundred. [5]
