Notes for Thomas Eayre

1741 On May 20, Benjamin Pancoast, son of Joseph Pancoast of Mansfield Twp, married Sarah Hugg in the city of Burlington. Witnessed by Thomasin and Priscilla Eayre and others. [1]

1761 The will of Thomas Eayre was dated January 20. The probate date was February 11 in Evesham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [2]

Thomas Eayre and Hannah Eayre, who married Keturah Moore and John Moore, respectively, were the children of Thomas Eayre and Priscilla Hugg, the dau. of John Hugg, Jr., and Priscilla Collins, the daughter of Francis Collins, the progenitor of the Collins family, and Sarah Mayham, his first wife. John Hugg, Jr., was the son of John Hugg, the progenitor of the Hugg family, who came from Wexford, Ireland. Thomas Eayre was the son of Richard Eayre and Elizabeth, the progenitors of the Eayre family. [3]

Keturah Moore, dau. of Benjamin Moore and Rebecca Fenimore, married Thomas Eayre, son of Thomas Eayre and Priscilla Hugg. [4] [5]
