We currently show Charles Pickett [1], son of Thomas and Nancy Pickett, as the spouse of Selah King.
This Charles Pickett, son of Thomas and Elizabeth, has also been named as the spouse of Celia King, with daughter Mary King Pickett. [2]
1805 The will of John D King was dated Sep 13, 1805 and was proved Jan 1807 in Montgomery County, Tennessee. It named children, including daughters Selah wife of Charles Pickett, Mary wife of William Pickett, and Rodah Pickett wife of Micajah Pickett, and 2 grandsons: John King Pickett and Thomas King Pickett. We are not confident about distinguishing the two men named Charles Pickett. We seek further evidence to clarify which Charles Pickett married Selah King. It is not clear whether Charles Pickett, the son of Thomas born 1740 or of Thomas born 1725, was the spouse of Selah King.
