1706 John King and Elizabeth Woodward were married on November 13, at Chesterfield. Witnessed by Sarah Wright, perhaps this one, and others. [1]

1711 On 20 December, Robert Wright and Elizabeth Hyerton were married in Burlington. Witnessed by Samuel and Sarah Wright and others. [2]

1737 On 29 August, Samuel Wright, perhaps this one, was named in the estate inventory of Joseph Steward of New Hanover Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey. [3]

1745 On 15 April, Samuel Wright, perhaps this one, was a freeholder in New Hanover Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [4]

1748/49 On 2 of month 1 [March], Samuel Wright and Rebecca Tantum declared, for the first time, their intention to marry, to the Chesterfield meeting. [5]

1749 On 4 of month 3 [May], Samuel Wright and Rebecca Tantum declared, for the second time, their intention to marry, to the Chesterfield meeting. [6]

1749 On June 1, the successful marriage of Samuel Wright and Rebecca Tantam was reported to the Chesterfield meeting. [7]

1762 On November 28, Samuel Wright, of New Hanover Twp, Burlington County, tanner, dated his will. My wife, Rebeckah, £250, and the goods she brought, and ½ the profits of plantation where I dwell, and of the plantation that is rented to Jonathan Brown. My grandson, Samuel Wright Hartshorn, plantation which was given me by my father, Joshua Wright, and also that land which I bought of William Kirby and Ann Kirby, which remains unsold; also the plantation I bought of David Starkey. To daughter, Rachel Scholly, during her widowhood, the above 2 tracts of land; also £50 and V2 the profits of plantation where Jonathan Brown lives. Granddaughter, Frances Schooley, £50. Granddaughter, Pheby Hartshorn, £50, and also the land I bought of Abraham Brown, on Crosswicks Creek where Abraham Estwood now dwells. To my granddaughters, Eleanor Hartshorn, Mary Tantum, Francis Schooley and Sarah Emley, the 2 tracts in the mountain which I bought of Joseph Biddle and the Curtises, being called 1,200 acres. Residue to my wife Rebecca, my daughter, Rachel Schooley, and my grandchildren, Eleanor Hartshorn, Mary Tantum, Samuel Wright Hartshorn, Phebe Hartshorn and Sarah Emley. To Anne Lovett, £5, and to Elizabeth Cleavinger 40 shillings. Executors—wife, Rebecca, my daughter, Rachel Schooley, and my grandson, Samuel Wright Hartshorn. Witnesses—Amos Wright, Thomas Folkes, Michael Burrows. Proved Jan. 4, 1763. [8]
