1775 Moses Pippit and Sarah Ivins were married on March 8, 1775, in Monmouth County, New Jersey. (FHL film 000802940). [3] [4] [5]

1780 Moses Pippit was taxed in Chester Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [6]

1785 Sarah, daughter of Moses Pippit and Sarah Ivins, was born on 7-2-1785 [February 2, 1785] in Rancocas, [Burlington County] New Jersey. [7] [8]

1795 Moses Pippet, Sr., of Chester Twp., Burlington County, dated his will November 7. [9] [10]

Real and personal to be sold. Wife, Sarah, 1/3 part. Children, Rachel, Charles, Paul, Jemima, Sarah, Isaac, Moses, Elizabeth and Phinius, each an equal share of remainder; sons, when 21, and daughters when 18. Executors: friends, Daniel Newton and Timothy Bishop. Witnesses—Thomas Bishop, Aaron Anderson and John Doyle. Proved Aug. 5, 1796. [Lib. 35; p. 415].

1797 A petition was made to the Burlington County Orphan Court for the education and maintenance of Moses (born December 19, 1790), Elizabeth (born February 17, 1793), & Phineas Pippit (born June 7, 1795). [11]

1799 Seth Austin and Sarah Pippit were married on February 26, 1799, in Burlington County, New Jersey. (FHL film 000848872). [12]

1812 Sarah, daughter of Moses Pippit and Sarah Ivins, and Joseph Hooton were married on November 11, 1812.
1814 Sarah Hooten, daughter of Moses Pippit and Sarah Ivins, transferred from the Chesterfield meeting to the Chester meeting. [13]

1817 Joseph Hooton, son of Joseph Hooton and Sarah Pippit, was born on August 30, 1817 near Moorestown, New Jersey. [14]

1822 The will of [Sarah's mother] Jemima Ivins, widow, of Chester Twp, Burlington County, was dated February 9. The will named son David Ivins, daughter Sarah Astin [perhaps Sarah's second marriage], daughter Lydia Gill, daughter Acsa Sharp, daughter Mary Brown, and daughter Jemima Beck. Affirmed by a witness on July 13, 1822. George French Esq. was sole executor. [15]
