1848 Anne Elizabeth Meals, daughter of Ferdinand Meals and Fahel, was born on January 9 at Adams County, Pennsylvania. [1]

1860 Elizabeth Meals (age 12, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Menallen, Adams County, Pennsylvania, at post office Bendersville, with Ferdinand Meals (age 51), Catharine Meals (age 40), Amos Meals (age 22), Henrietta Meals (age 19), David Meals (age 18), Eve Meals (age 14), Adam Meals (age 13), Susanna Meals (age 11), John Meals (age 9), George W Meals (age 7), Theodore Meals (age 4), Rosanna J Meals (age 3), and William Meals (age 1). [2]

1868 Samuel A. Kennedy and Annie E. Meals were married on March 31 at the Evangelical Church, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [3]

1896 Samuel Kennedy died on May 18 and was buried at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville, Rye Twp, Perry County, Pennsylvania. [4] [5]

1900 Annie E Kennedy (born in Pennsylvania in Jan 1848, widowed) lived in Marysville, Perry County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Charles Mc Kennedy (age 23), and William H Kennedy (age 20). Annie E Kennedy's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Annie E Kennedy had had 4 children, 3 still living. [6]

1903 Annie E. Kennedy, daughter of Ferdinand and Annie E. [sic] Meals, and Jacob Kline were married on April 28 at Perry, Pennsylvania. [7] [8]

1921 Jacob Kline died on March 27 at Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania and was buried at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville, Perry County, Pennsylvania. Jacob Kline was born on March 1, 1845. [9][10]

The son of John & Caroline "Catherine" (Fleisher [?]) Kline, in 1860 he was a farmer living in Juniata Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania. He stood 6' 1" tall and had dark hair and gray eyes.

A Civil War veteran, he served two terms of service:
1. Enlisted at the stated age of nineteen in Perry County June 27, 1863, during the Gettysburg crisis, mustered in Harrisburg July 1 as a private with Co. B, 36th Pennsylvania Militia, and honorably discharged with his company August 11, 1863.
2. Enlisted at the stated age of eighteen in Harrisburg March 2, 1865, mustered there March 9 as a private with the 104th Pennsylvania Infantry in the second organization of Co. F as a private, and honorably discharged with his company August 25, 1865.

He married Mary Catherine Shafer March 29, 1868, and fathered Charles Emory (b. 09/19/69), Katie May (b. 07/03/71), Harry Andrew (b. 03/26/73), Minnie (b. @1875, d. 1876), and Rosa Emma (b. 02/??/78). Mary died in 1900, and he married German-born Annie E. Kennedy, née Meals, April 7, 1903, in Marysville, Perry County. A retired railroader, he died in Harrisburg Hospital from "uremia (post-operative)" caused by a "hypertrophic prostate."

1926 Anne Elizabeth Kline, spouse of Jacob Kline, died on December 10 at East Pennsboro, Cumberland, Pennsylvania. [11]
