Notes for Andrew Tulloch

1539 Andrew Tulloch was foud of Northmavine, Shetland. [1] A foud was an official in Shetland and Orkney, originally of the Norwegian Crown, whose duty was to preside at the Things or local councils and to collect taxes, and, under the Scotland feudal regime, to carry out the functions of sheriff. [2]
