1756 Charity Platt was born on May 27. [1]

1784 John Platt, son of Thomas Platt, and Alice Stevenson, daughter of William Stevenson, were married on September 23, at Upper Freehold, Monmouth County. Witnessed by Charity Platt, and many others. [2]

1787 Charles Jones and Mary Ivins, daughter of Samuel Ivins, deceased, of Chesterfield, Burlington County, were married on November 2, at Upper Freehold, Monmouth County. Witnessed by Charity Platt, and many others. [3]

1790 William Chapman and Sarah Ivins, daughter of Samuel (deceased) and Sarah Ivins, were married on December 16, at Upper Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Witnessed by Charity Platt, and many others. [4]

1828 Charity Platt dated her will on May 22. "In the name of God Amen I Charity Platt of the township of New Hanover County of Burlington and State of New Hersey being weak in body ... this twenty second day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundrend and twenty six make and publish this my last will and testament ... I give to my sister Hannah Hooper all my house and lands ... during her natural life and at her death to be equally divided between her children ... I give to my deceased brother Thomas Platts children three hundred dollars ... I give to my deceased brother Jacob Platts children three hundred dollars ... I give to Samuel Ivins, son of my deceased sister Sarah Wardle, one hundred dollars ... I give to my deceased brother John Platts children three hundred dollars ... I give to my niece Hannah Gaunt twenty dollars ... I give to Lawrence Minor Platt son of George Platt fifty dollars, ... I give to Charity Howard daughter of my deceased niece Mary Jones ten dollars ... I give to my niece Charity Hooper one bed bedding and bedstead ... I give to my sister Hannah Hooper's grand-daughter Charity Cliver ten dollars... I give to Lucy Bruer one bed four blankets marked CPTOLB ... I give to Jeremiah Jones son of my niece Mary Jones twenty five dollars ... the residue I give to my neafu [nephew?] George Platt and my niece Elizabeth Cliver ... I appoint George Platt and John Emley executors ..." Affirmed on February 4, 1828. [5]

1828 George Platt and John Emley, executors for Charity Platt, presented their account of her estate. Payments were made to Samuel Ivins, Jeremiah Jones, Lucy Haley (late Bruer), Mary Platt (child of John Platt, deceased), George Platt (child of John Platt, deceased), John Platt (child of John Platt, deceased), Elizabeth Erwin (child of John Platt, deceased), W. Platt (child of John Platt, deceased), Franklin Platt (child of John Platt, deceased), W Platt for Clayton Platt (child of John Platt, deceased), and many others. [6]
