November 25, 1976Mrs. Barbara Howard Goodnight, a Wellington resident 46 years, died n Collingsworth General Hospital at 11:20 p.m. friday November 9. She was 80 years of age. Mrs. Goodnight was born November 15, 1896 in Jack County. The former Barbara Pickett, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. McCager Pickett. She came to Collingsworth County in 1931 from Eldorado, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include five daughters: Mrs. Faye Laucamp of Lafayett, Colo.,Mrs. Bill Adlong of Littleton, Colorado; Miss Dorothy Howard of Wellington; Mr. Dick LaTondre of Santa Clara, California; and Mrs. John York of Poteet; three sons, A.C. Howard of Pama, aul Howard of Wellinton and Dale Howard of aonia, Colorado; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Childs of Baytown; 24 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
