1918 Roger Moore Bond, born July 31, 1898, registered for the draft at Warren, Illinois. He was a student at Monmouth College, Monmouth, Warren, Illinois. His father J.E. Bond was named as his nearest relative. He was tall, slender, had brown eyes, and had dark brown hair. [1]

Ruth Henriette Swanson (born March 1, 1902), daughter of Charles Russel Swanson (born March 10 1875) and Alina Julia Nordquist Swanson (born June 20, 1878), was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church. Her parents were married on May 25, 1901. [2]

1940 Roger Bond (age 41, born in Illinois) lived in Lemon Twp, Butler County, Ohio, in a household with Ruth Bond (age 38), Dorothy Elizabeth Bond (age 11), Rath Marlan Bond (age 9), John Roger Bond (age 7), Eleanor Margaret Bond (age 4), Joseph Edwards Bond (age 2), and Charles Russell Swanson Bond (age 2/12). Roger Bond's occupation was engineer, for paper mill machinery. Roger Bond's residence was not a farm. The highest grade of school he had completed was College, 5th or subsequent year. [3]

1942 Roger Moore Bond registered for the draft. He worked at Carbide and Carbon. He lived at St. Albans, West Virginia. Ruth Bond was his next of kin. He was 6 feet tall. His complexion was sallow with brown eyes and hair. [4]

1948 Roger Moore Bond dated his will on February 14, 1948 in Kanawha County, West Virginia. He named wife Ruth Henrietta Swanson Bond as his sole beneficiary. The will was confirmed on January 19, 1967. Ruth lived at 1094 Highland Drive, St. Albans, West Virginia. [5]

1985 Ruth S Bond, daughter of Charles R Swanson and Alma Nordquist, spouse of Roger Moore Bond, died on August 9, 1985, at age 83, in Alexandria Twp, Fairfax County, Virginia. Ruth S Bond was born on March 1, 1902 in Michigan. [6]
