Marjorie Chipman, also known as Marjorie Miles Jackson, 101, of 3864 Sweeten Creek Road, Arden, passed away Monday, July 21, 2003, at The Oaks of Sweeten Creek.
She was a native of Chicago and the daughter of the late Herbert Delahaye and Delia Hulburd Gallop Miles.
Mrs. Chipman is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Leslie of Asheville son, W.J. Jackson of Kingsport, Tenn. two nephews, Elwood and Alden Miles, both of Asheville seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
