1640 William, son of William Scholey, baptiz. 18vo Junij, Methley baptism Register, Yorkshire. [11] He died 1714 and was a member of the Friends meetings at Balby [12] William Schooley resided at Aughton, and he was a member of the Friends Meetings of Balby. [English Friends Records]

1644 Ann, the wife of William Skales, the 6 day of February, Methley burial Register, Yorkshire. [13]

1645 Aprill, Jane, daughter of William Scholey, the 22th day thereof, Methley baptism Register, Yorkshire. [14]

1647 June. Edward Scholey seni'r, the 18th day, Methley burial Register, Yorkshire. [15]

1650 The will of Stephen Scholey, yeoman, parish South Kirkeby, Register Grey, was dated 25 February, 1650 and named relict Elizabeth Scholey as administrator. [16]

1654 Ellen Scholey, spinster, and Henrye Barton, of Rossington were married at Rotherham [17]. Ellen Scholey married Henrye Barton of Par-Aughton and she died the same year. [18]

1655 Henrye Barton of the parish of Rossington, husband man, & Ellen Scholey of the parish of Rotherham, spinster, were published 28 January 4 & 11 Feb 1654/55 & married 19 Feb 1654/55. [19]

1657 The will of William Scholey, yeoman, parish Methley, Register Ruthen, was dated 20 August, 1657 and was administered by relict Anne Scholey. Brother Edward and others were named. [20] [21]

1657 The will of John Scholey, parish Havercrofte, was administered by relict Anne Scholey. [22]

1659 The will of Anne Major, widow of Thomas Major, parish Fenwick, Register Pell, was dated 3 May, 1659 and named Elizabeth Scholey, grandmother of children, as administrator. [23]

1659 2nd May, M'd that Edward Sholey off Methley, Shoomaker, accknowledges himselfe to owe to his Highnew ye L'd Protector 40h, Edward Scholey of ye same, yeoman & John Cockhill off ye same, yeoman, bound each 20h. Condition that whereas Edward Scholey is a pson off very lewd & evill behaviour, a common alehouse haunter & disobedient & rebellious sonne, & upon the 28th Ap'll last most unnaturally assaulted & made an affray upon his own mother, aged about sixty years & threw her downe to ye ground & bruised her in diuerse p'tes of her body ..." 1671 William, son of William Scholey, bap: 19 February, Methley baptism Register, Yorkshire. [25]

1675 Edward Scholey was buried 28 of August. [26]

1677 John, son of William Scholey, bap: the 20 of October, Methley baptism Register, Yorkshire. [27]
