1780 Peter Bricker was taxed for 200 acres, 3 horses, and 5 cattle in Allen Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [3]

1793 Peter Bricker was taxed for 3 horses, and 7 cattle in Churchtown, Allen Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [4]

1800 Peter Bricker, farmer, was listed on the Pennsylvania septennial census for Allen Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [6]

1804 The will of Peter Bricker, yeoman of Allen Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, was dated 14 April and probate 13 Sep 1804. It named wife Mary and son Peter Bricker. Land bought of Jacob Weise. Land bought of William Hameroley. Six daughters: Elizabeth wife of George Brindle, Barbara wife of David Brenizer, Magdalen wife of Jacob Miller, Mary wife of John Beshor, Catherine Bricker and Susanna Bricker. Executors Adam Brandt and John Barr. Witnesses Jacob Crever and Jacob Weise. [7]

1805 Land from the estate of Peter Bricker in Allen Twp, Cumberland County, about 6 miles from Carlisle, bounded on lands of William Scott, Jacob Wise, Godfry Goodyear, and Peter Bricker Jr, was offered for sale with a description in the newspaper. [8]

1820 The will of Mary Bricker, widow of Peter Bricker, of Allen Twp was dated 22 Aug, 1820 and probated 5 Feb 1821. Named sons Peter, Samuel, and John. Daughters Elizabeth Brindle, Mary Basehore, Catherine Searer, and Susanna Geary. Two other daughters Barbara Brenizer and Magdalena Miller. [9]

A biosketch of Abner C. Brindle reports: "Our subject is a great-grandson of Peter Bricker, born in Lancaster County, Penn., in 1735, and married to Miss Mary Barr; settled in Cumberland County, Penn., in an early day; he was a son of Peter Bricker, who came to this country from Switzerland in the early part of the eighteenth century."
