A very pretty home wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Curtis on Saturday, April 8, at 3:00 pw hen their daughter, Millie was united in marriage to Walter F. Moyer, of Jackson, The Bev. J. T. LeGear, of that city performed the ceremony in the presence of the family and a few friends, the beautiful and impressive ring ceremoney being used. Lester B. Conklin, of Jackson acted as groomsman and Cassie Curtis, a sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and Winnie Hight played the wedding march. After the congratulations the company were seated at tables and the wedding dinner was greatly enjoyed.

Mr. Moyer is a prosperous young business man of Jackson, highly esteemed by his associate for his high Christian character and Mrs. Moyer commands the highest respect and esteem from all who know her. Both are active members of the first M. E. church of that city.

They took the evening train from this place for Jackson, where tbey have their home furnished and ready for house keeping.

Deputy Coroner H. H. Rodin today returned a verdict of suicide in the death of Walter E. Moyer, aged 54, auctioneer, of 614 Cottage Grove avenue, who was found by his wife in the gas-filled kitchen of their home last Thursday.

1932 Mellie C Moyer, divorced, died on December 7 in Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan. She was born on August 7, 1878, in Deerfield, Michigan, daughter of Charles V Curtis and Etta Chamberlain. [13]
