1889 A memorial stone at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Tifton, Tift County, Georgia, names Jeptha Pickett (1819-1889), son of Jeptha Pickett (1786-1751) and Nancy Boulware Pickett (1800-1826). [16] [17]

Daughter Anna Elizabeth married Tarpley McCarty. Daughter Fannie lived with Anna Tarpley after Tarpley McCarty died.

1900 Anna Mccarty (born in Georgia, USA in Mar 1860, widowed) lived in Dawson, Terrell County, Georgia, in a household with William Mccarty (age 18), Mary Mccarty (age 12), Tarpley Mccarty (age 8), and Fannie Pickett (age 44). Anna Mccarty's parents were both born in Georgia, USA. Anna Mccarty had had 3 children, 3 still living. [18]
