1850 James Ivins (age 50) and Ann (age 50) lived in Hamilton Twp, Mercer County, New Jersey with Abraham (not Edwin?) age 21. Son Augustus (age 24) and Lydia A Ivins (age 23) and George R Ivins (age 1) lived with them. [1]

1850 Elisha Vanhise (age 39, born in New Jersey) lived in Millstone Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey, in a household with Meribah Vanhise (age 40), Lydia Ann Vanhise (age 14), Mary Vanhise (age 11), and John W Vanhise (age 8). [2]

1860 Edward Ervin (age 32) lived in Clarksburg (post office), Millstone Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey, in a household with Lydia Ann Ervin (age 24), Joseph C Ervin (age 6), James A Ervin (age 3), and Samuel Ervin (age 9/12). [3]

1865 Edwin Ivins was listed, in the New Jersey census, living at Millstone Township, Monmouth, New Jersey. [4]

1880 Edwin Ivins (age 51, born in New Jersey), self (head), married, lived in Jackson Twp, Ocean County, New Jersey, in a household with Lydia A. Ivins (age 44), John T. Ivins (age 14), Emily Ivins (age 11), Mary A. Ivins (age 5), and Sarah M. Ivins (age 5). Edwin Ivins's parents were both born in New Jersey. Edwin Ivins's occupation was farm work. [5]

1885 Edwin Ivins, Lydia A Ivins, Emily S Ivins, Mary Ann Ivins, and Sarah A Ivins; and Maribah Van Hise lived in Millstone, Monmouth County, New Jersey. [6]

1900 Edwin Ivans (age 72, born in May 1828 in New Jersey), married in 1858, lived in Jackson Twp, Ocean County, New Jersey, in a household with Lydia Ivans (age 64) and Roy Ivans (age 9). Edwin Ivans's parents were both born in New Jersey. [7]

1908 Edwin F Ivins died on Nov. 15, 1908 and was buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey. Edwin F Ivins was born in 1828. [8] [9]

1914 Lydia A Ivins, spouse of Edwin F Ivins, died on September 29 in Prospertown, Ocean County, New Jersey and was buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey. She was born in 1836 in New Jersey, United States of America, daughter of Elisha VanHise and Meribah VanHise. [10] [11]

1884 John T Ivins died on January 2 at Millstone Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey and was buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey. John T Ivins was born in 1866. [12] [13]

1890 Joseph Clark Ivins died on August 3 at West Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey and was buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey. Joseph Clark Ivins was born in 1854. [14] [15]

1926 James A. Ivins was buried at Emleys Hill Methodist Episcopal Churchyard, Cream Ridge, Monmouth County, New Jersey. James A. Ivins was born on June 1, 1857. [16] [17]

Died on January 29, 1926 in Extonville, Hamilton Township, Mercer County.

1926 Amanda Ivins Thompson died on December 5 and was buried at Harmony Methodist Cemetery, Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey. Amanda Ivins Thompson was born on August 16, 1874. [18] [19]

1931 Samuel W Ivins died on July 18 at Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey and was buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey. Samuel W Ivins was born on October 28, 1859. [20] [21]

This was where he was originally buried. Please see obit in Asbury Park Press and NJ Genealogical Society Survey. His remains were later removed from Ivins family plot to a new location.

1955 Emily S Ivins Goff died on August 26 at Brick, Ocean County, New Jersey and was buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey. Emily S Ivins Goff was born on May 8, 1867. [22] [23]

1957 Mary Ann Ivins MaCann died on May 30 at Cassville, Ocean County, New Jersey and was buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Jackson, Ocean County, New Jersey. Mary Ann Ivins MaCann was born on August 16, 1874. [24] [25]

Freehold Transcript, Thursday June 6, 1957:
"Mrs. Mary A MaCann, 82, of Cassville, died May 28 at her home. She was born in Red Valley, the daughter of the late Edwin R and Lydia VanHise Ivins. Surviving are her husband, George F MaCann; three sons, LeRoy, RD, Lakewood; Randolph and Earl, both of Cassville; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Brown, Cassville, and Mrs. Palmer Cottrell, Pleasant Grove; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday 2 PM from the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church, the Rev. Russell Tarver officiating. Interment followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of the CHT Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia".
