Nicholas Cady was a carpenter and was a resident of Watertown, Mass. as early as 1645. He removed to Groton and served as a surveyor and constable. [NEHGR, v. 96, 1942, p 296]
Nicholas Cady of Watertown took the oath of fidelity in 1652. His wife was Judith Knapp, daughter of William. They went to Groton about 1668, and their sons and grandsons removed to Connecticut.
