1570 Peter Wright reportedly was born, and then lived, in Thorpe, Howden, and Knedlington, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. His parents have been reported to be Nicholas Wright; born 1545, died 1648 (son of William Wright and Ann Thornton); and Margaret Wilson, born 1550. [11]
1609 "John & Jone ch. to An Wright of howd. xiij" was buried on February 13, 1608/09. [12]
Some researchers have named Robert Wright, born 1542 as the father of Peter Wright.
