1793 Mahlon Kirkbride Ivins was born on 22 of month 3. [1] [2] The names and birthdates and death dates of four children of Samuel Ivins and wife Ann (Rickey), born 11th mo, 5th day, 1762, were recorded in the Upper Springfield monthly meeting list of births and deaths. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

1813 Mahlon K Ivins was received on certificate from the Quaker Shrewsbury monthly meeting, recorded at Falls, Pennsylvania monthly meeting on month 2, day 5. [8]

1815 Benjamin Schooley and Ann Kirkbride Ivins were married on May 4, at the Chesterfield Meeting of Friends. Witnessed by Mahlon K Ivins and others. [9] [10]

1816 Mahlon K Ivins was granted a certificate, on 3 of month 8, by the recorded Falls, Bucks County, Pennsylvania monthly meeting to the Chesterfield, Burlington County, New Jersey monthly meeting. [11] [12] [13]

1817 Lydia Decow married Mahlon Kirkbride Ivins, of Nottingham, Burlington County, son of Samuel Ivins, of Shrewsbury, Monmouth County, and Anne Ivins (deceased), on March 6. [14]

1818 Samuel and Lydia Ivins sold land in Shrewsbury Twp, Monmouth County, to Mahlon K. Ivins, of Burlington County. The land was adjacent to land of Nathan Jackson. Dated October 1. [15]

1821 Malon Ivins, of Nottingham Twp, Burlington County, purchased 2 tracts land in Shrewsbury Twp, Monmouth County, from Nathan Jackson. One was in Ransums Neck and one was by Tinton Falls. Dated October 8. [16]

1823 Lydia Ivins requested a certificate for herself and three minor children to wit William Wardel and Lambert Rickey Ivins at the Chesterfield meeting. Dated on March 3. [17]

1830 Mahlon Ivins (age 40-50) lived in Shrewsbury Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey with his family. [18]

1833 Malon Ivins purchased land in Shrewsbury Twp, Monmouth County, from Joel Mitton. Dated April 5. [19]

1840 Mahlon K Ivins (age 50-60) lived in Shrewsbury Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey with his family. [20]

1845 Lydia De Cou Ivins died in March at New Jersey. Lydia De Cou Ivins was born on June 15, 1797. [21] [22]

1848 Letters of administration for the estate of Mahlon K Ivins, of Monmouth County, were issued to William C Ivins and Wardell Ivins on April 3. [23]

1849 At the August term of the Monmouth County orphans court, William Ivins and Wardell Ivins submitted their account of the estate of Mahlon K Ivins. [24]

1850 Chas Ivans (age 23, born in New Jersey) lived in Shrewsbury Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey, in a household with Wardell Ivans (age 29), Lambert Ivans (age 27), Hannah Diamond (age 50), John Sylvester (age 36), Elizabeth Sylvester (age 19), Lararay T Sylvester (age 1), and Thomas Tindle (age 22). [25]

1850 William Ivins (age 40) was a carpenter living in Upper Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Living with him was Lydia Ivins (age 70), born Pennsylvania. William could have been a son of Mahlon Ivins living with Mahlon's step-mother Lydia Robins Ivins. William had children Jane (age 28) and Sarah Ann (age 12), but no wife. [26]

"William C. Ivins was a son of Mahlon K. and Lydia (De Cou) Ivins, whose children were: William C, Wardell, Lambert, Charles E., George W., Robert B., and one died in infancy." [27]
