1208-1222 Henry de Tracy arranged for a daily mass to be said at St James chapel in Pilton for the souls of his grandfather Henry, grandmother Hawise, and father Oliver. The abbot addressed in the donation record was W. [1] Walter Loring was mentioned as abbot elect of Malmesbury in 1208. The next abbot was John Walsh who assented to election in 1222. William of Colerne assented to election in 1260. [2]
