1840 Dominick Fry died on May 9 and was buried at Coffman Cemetery, Ronceverte, Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Dominick Fry was born on July 21, 1791. [1] [2]

1870 Christiana Fry (age 68, born in West Virginia) lived in Fort Spring, Greenbrier County, West Virginia, in a household with John F Fry (age 39), Amanda J Fry (age 36), and Calvin Wilson (age 7). Christiana Fry's occupation was boarding. [3]

1880 Christina Fry (age 79, born in Virginia, widowed) lived in Fort Spring, Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Christina Fry's parents were both born in Virginia. [4]

1887 Christine Whanger Fry died on April 18 and was buried at Coffman Cemetery, Ronceverte, Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Christine Whanger Fry was born on January 1, 1802. [5] [6]

A biosketch reports [7]:

Christena C. Whanger born 1-1-1802, died 4-18-1887, daughter of John & Frances (Coffman) Whanger, married Dominick Frey born 7-21-1791 died 5-9-1846, son of Frey.

Dominick was born at Neustadt Schwarzwald, Baden, and moved to Greenbrier County from Shenandoah County, Va. He was a farmer and Mennonite preacher; he lived in Greenbrier County and owned 92 acres. Their home is still standing and is owned by Dr. Ferrell. John Frey lived on the old home place (Deed 8-29-1860) and made caskets there. On Feb. 16, 1878, eight of his children had the 'E' dropped in their last name. John Fry (son of Dominick) stated that Dominick's sister was Theresa Schmidt, of Baden. Both are buried at Coffman Cemetery, near Lewisburg, W. Va., near their home. The Freu children were born in Greenbrier Co., W. Va.
