1849 Merit K Ware registered 160 acres of land in McMinn County, Tennessee on November 26. [2]

1860 M R Ware (age 39, born in Tennessee) lived in Honey Creek, McDonald County, Missouri, in a household with Jane S Ware (age 36), James A Ware (age 20), Wm J Ware (age 18), Robt F Ware (age 16), H P Ware (age 14), Elizabeth L Ware (age 12), Jessee M Ware (age 10), Jno Ware (age 8), Rutha M Ware (age 6), and Denford M Ware (age 4). [3]

1870 Merrit Ware (age 50, born in Tennessee) lived in Round Prairie, Benton County, Arkansas, in a household with Sarah Ware (age 44), William Ware (age 26), Jessie Ware (age 20), Rutha Ware (age 15), Demp Ware (age 12), Susan Ware (age 10), and Price Ware (age 7). Merrit Ware's occupation was farmer. [4]

1880 Jasper Weir (age 38, born in Missouri, married) lived in Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri, in a household with S. F. Weir (age 28), O. M. Weir (age 3), and Lizzie Weir (age 1). Jasper Weir's parents were both born in Tennessee. Jasper Weir's occupation was druggist. [5]

1900 Merret R Ware (born in Tennessee, USA in Aug 1820, married for 33 years) lived in Justice Precinct 2, Fannin County, Texas, in a household with Sarry Ware (age 72), and Jasper W Ware (age 58). Merret R Ware's parents were both born in South Carolina, USA. Merret R Ware's occupation was farmer. Sarry had had no children. [6]

1907 Merrit Rowland Ware died on 1907 and was buried at Eastview Memorial Park, Vernon, Wilbarger County, Texas. [7] [8]

1946 Marion Denford Ware, son of M R Ware and Pierce, died on June 4, 1946, at age 90, in Mobeetie, Wheeler County, Texas. Marion Denford Ware was born on April 20, 1856, in Missouri. [9]

Research Notes:

The 1900 census record suggests that Merrit Ware remarried about 1867.
