Research Notes:

1729 On 7 of month 6, Robert Murfin, son of William, and Sarah Wells, late of Shrewsbury, declared their intent to marry at the Chesterfield meeting, his parents being present. [1] "she having had her residence here aways for some time of late" [2] Sarah Wells produced a certificate from Shrewsbury monthly meeting. [3]

1729 On 4 of month 7, Robert Murfin, son of William, and Sarah Wells declared their intent to marry at the Chesterfield meeting. John Middleton and Nathaniel Stevenson were appointed to make enquiry. [4] [5] [6]

1729 On 2 of month 8, at the Chesterfield meeting, "The Friends appointed last meeting to attend the marriage report that things were orderly. [7]

1753 On 28 April, the estate of Robert Murfin, of Nottingham, Burlington County, was administered with bond of William Murfin, with inventory 13 Sept 1753 by Preserve Brown and William Bunting. [8]
