Keats-Rohan states, [1]

Willelm Maldoit
Norman, from Saint-Martin-du-Bosc, Eure, arr. Les Andelys, cant. and comm. Etrepagny (Loyd, 62), Domesday tenant-in-chief. By his wife Hadvise he was father of Robert Mauduit (drowned in 1120), William II Mauduit, chamberlain of Henry I, Albreda wife of Fulk d'Ouville, and a daughter who married Hugh fitz John de St Martin. Havise was apparently secondly wife of William I de Ainesford (q.v., RRAN ii, p. 340), perhaps as his second wife. R. W.
