1579 "William Quartermaine was baptized the ixth of June" in Garsington, Oxfordshire. [1]

1581/82 "Marie Quartermaene" was "baptized the xiiij of January" in Garsington, Oxfordshire.

1583/84 "Anne Quartermaine was baptized the tenth of March" in Garsington, Oxfordshire. [2]

1591 "Francis Quartermaine the daughter of John Quartermaine was baptized the xxiiijth of October" in Garsington, Oxfordshire. [3]

1600/01 John Quatermane of Garsington wrote his will on February 10. [4] [5]

In the name of god Amen I John Quatermane of Garsington in the Couty of Oxon husbandman sicke in body but whole and sounde in minde (laude & prayse be given to my lorde god for all his gyfts benifitts & blessinges bestowed vpon me) doe make & ordeine this my last will & testament in mannor & forme following first I commit & commend my soule into the handes of Almighty god who gave it trustinge to be saved by the meanes & mediation of my redeemer Jesus Christ & my body to be buried wt in the church yearde of Garsington. Item I give & bequeath vnto my daughter Mary Quatermane five poundes of good & lawfull money of England to be payed her when shee is Two & twenty yeres ould Item I give & bequeath vnto my daughter Annis Quatermane five poundes of the like currant money to be payed when shee is eighteene yeres oulde Item I give & bequeath vnto my daughter Christian Quatermane five pounds of good & lawfull money of Englande to be payed vnto her att the eighteenth yere of her adge, Item I give & bequeath vnto my daughter Francis Quatermane other five pounds of lawfull Inglysh money to be payed her when shee is sixteene yeres ould, Item my will is yt yf one or more of my daughters doe departe this lyfe before the tyme prefixed her or their parte or partes shalbe equally devided between the suruivers, It all my other goodes both moueables & Immoueables I give & bequeath vnto Annis Quatermane my wyfe whom I make sole executrix of this my last will and testament made the tenth day of february in the one thousand & six hundred yere of our lord god in the presence of William Quatermane.

1600/01 "John Quatermane" was "buried the xxvth day of February" in Garsington, Oxfordshire. [6]

1600/01 The will of John Quatermane was proved on "xviijo Martij" by the executrix. [7]
