1735/36 "Henry son of Henry Alexander" was baptized on February 29th in Upminster, Essex. [3]

1737 "Susan D. of Henry & Susan Alexander" was baptized on April 28 in Upminster, Essex. [4]

1738 "Thos son of Henry & Susan Alexander" was baptized on November 18 in Upminster, Essex. [5]

1740 "Susannah D. of Henry & Susannah Alexander" was baptized on June 19th in Upminster, Essex. [6]"

1741 "Rebecca D. of Henry & Susannah Alexander" was baptized on May 16th in Upminster, Essex. [7]

1742/43 "Jane D. of Henry & Susannah Alexander" was baptized on February 11th in Upminster, Essex. [8]"

1756 "Alexander, Susan wife of Henry, Farmer" was buried on February 16 in Hornchurch, Essex. [13]

1783 Henry Alexander wrote his will on February 4. [14]

In the Name of God Amen the fourth day of February 1783 I Henry Alexander of the parish of Hornchurch in the County of Essex being very sick and weak in Body but in perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God therefore calling unto mind the Mortality of my Body and knowing that it is apointed for all Men once to die I do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament and as touch such Worldly Estates wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in life I give and devise and dispose of the sam in the following manner and form I five and bequeath to Mary Alexander my dear geloved Wife the Sum of Ten pounds of lawful Money of England to be paid within Five years after my death and the Marriage Bond made Good according to Contract I give and bequeath to Henry Alexander my Son the Land now in his possession in the parish of Degenham Essex part Copyhold and part Free and I give and bequeath to him the Sum of two pounds of lawful Money of England Igive and bequeath to my Son Thomas Alexander the Sum of Ten pounds of lawful Money of England to be paid three Years after my death I give to my Daughter Jane Taylor the Sum of Six pounds of lawful Money within three years after my Death I give and bequeath to my two Grand CHildren Rebecca and William Meakins the sum of three pounds three shillings each of them to be paid when they come to the age of Twenty one I give to my Daughter Susanna Walton the sum of three pounds three Shillings to be paid three years after my Death I give and bequeath to my Son Richard Alexander the Stock and Crops of Bedden Court Farm with the Utensils of Husbandry and the Rorewing(?) utensils I give to my Son William Alexander the Sum of three pounds three Shillings to be paid at my death I give to my Grandson William ALexander the Son of Thomas ALexander the Sum of Then pounds Ten shillings to be paid three years after my death I give to my Son William Alexander my Farm called Broad Weares in the parish of Stoke in Essex and to pay half the Legacies out of the sid Farm I give and bequeath to my Son Richard Alexander the Sum of five shillings to be paid at my Dath and to pay half the Legacies out of the Stock at Bodden Court this my last will and Testament and desire that my two Sons Richrd adn William Alexander will execute the above according to the true meaning and desire of the above and I desire my good Friends Robert Mabbs will determine any difference In Witness whereof I hve herof set my hand and Seal Richard and William Alexander full and hole Executors Henry Alexander Signed and Sealed published and declared by the before named Testator Henry Alexander to be his last Will and Testament in presence of us Subscribed our names as Witnesses hereto in the presence of the Testators and of each other Signed and Sealed this this Fourth day of February 1783 Edward Hodges Edward Lawrence John Wakeling.

1795 "Alexander, Mary age 74" was buried on October 28 in Hornchurch, Essex. [17]
