1810 Carter White lived in Lunenburg, Lunenburg County, Virginia in a household with free white males: 1 (16 thru 25), 1 (26 thru 44), and 1 (45 and over); and free white females: 1 (10 thru 15), 1 (26 thru 44), and 1 (45 and over); and 18 slaves. [3]

1817 Patsy White and Abraham Downy were married on October 4 in Warren County, Kentucky. Patsy White was a daughter of Carter White. (FHL film 000164003). [4]

1830 Carter White lived in Simpson County, Kentucky in a household with free white males: 2 (20 thru 29), 1 (40 thru 49), and 1 (60 thru 69); and free white females: 1 (10 thru 14), 3 (15 thru 19), and 1 (50 thru 59); and 16 slaves. [5]

1840 Carter White lived in Simpson County, Kentucky in a household with free white males: 2 (under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), and 1 (70 thru 79); and free white females: 1 (5 thru 9) and 2 (20 thru 29); and 8 slaves. [6]

1850 Carter White (age 82, born in Virginia) lived in District 2, Warren County, Kentucky, in a household with Elizabeth White (age 37). Carter White was a farmer. [7]
