1829 Jacob Brenizer and family moved to Westfield Twp, Morrow County, Ohio. [7]

1840 Jacob (age 40-50) and Margaret (age 30-40) lived in Westfield Twp, Morrow County, Ohio with males 0-5(Henry), 10-15 (William), 15-20 (John C); and females age 0-5 (Mary), 5-10 (Margaret), and 10-15 (Maria). [8]

1850 Jacob Brenizer (age 58, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Westfield Twp, Morrow County, Ohio, in a household with Margaret Brenizer (age 48), Margaret Brenizer (age 15), Henry Brenizer (age 12), Mary Brenizer (age 10), Cicero Brenizer (age 8), and Martha Brenizer (age 5). [9]

1860 Jacob Brenizer (age 66) lived in Westfield (post office), Westfield Twp, Morrow County, Ohio, in a household with Margaret Brenizer (age 57), Henry Brenizer (age 22), Mary Brenizer (age 20), Cicero Brenizer (age 17), and Martha Brenizer (age 15). 1870 Margaret Brenizer (age 67, born in Maryland) lived in Cardington (post office), Westfield Twp, Morrow County, Ohio, in a household with Cicero H Brenizer (age 26) and Mattie Brenizer (age 24). [12]

1879 Margaret Griffith Brenizer died on March 31, 1879 and was buried at Mounds Cemetery, Morrow County, Ohio. Margaret Griffith Brenizer was born Mar. 4, 1803. [13]

A biosketch of son William reports [14]:

He was the son of Jacob and Margaret (Griffith) Brenizer, both of whom were natives of the state of Pennsylvania. They removed to Maryland and when the subject was an infant but two years of age they came across the intervening hills and vales as pilgrims to Morrow county. Ohio. Mr. Brenizer was one of a family of eleven children. The father, Jacob Brenizer, was long a representative agriculturist in Westfield township and his demise occurred October 25, 1869, his wife, Margaret surviving him for nearly a decade, or until March 31, 1879.

A biosketch of son William reports [15]:

[William] with his parents, Jacob and Mary (Griffith) Brenizer, is a native of Maryland, and was born Feb. 26, 1827. When two years of age his parents moved to this township and settled on a farm then owned by John Elliott, on the Whetstone river; and in 1831, moved to a farm of their own, where they spent the balance of their lives.
