Notes for Johann Christian Müller and Friederika Fredel

1847 Joh Christian Mueller and Friedericka Fredel emigrated from Waiblingen district of Wuerttemberg in March 1847 to destination North America.

1850 Christian (age 28) and Fredericka (age 23) Miller lived in Center Township, Buchanan County, Missouri. Christian is a farmer with value of real estate owned $1000. They were both born in Germany.

1860 C. Miller age 39, a teamster, with F. Miller age 35, both born in Germany, appear in the 1860 Census in St Joseph, Buchanan, MO. The value of C. Miller's real estate was $4000 and his personal estate was $200.

1870 On August 5, Christian (age 49) and Fredrica (age 44) Miller, both born in Wurtemberg lived in St. Joseph, Missouri. Christian was a farmer and the value of his real estate was $1000. Mary Clinck (age 12, born in Missouri) lived in the household, suggesting that the Klink daughter, Friederike Maria, missing from the Christian Klink household in the 1870 census, was living in the household of her aunt and uncle, Friederika (Fredel) and Christian Mueller. 1885 Sept 9: Christian and Friederika made a mutual last will and testament. They gave legacies of 400-1000 marks to three charities in Winnenden with the rest of their estate to be divided among all of the children of their siblings. Letters from the U.S. consulate in Stuttgart to the Klink children written in 1903 (after the deaths of Christian and Friederika) suggest that each heir was to receive 7000-8000 marks.
