A bioskech of a descendant reports [1]:

A few years later he [Elder Elias Caylor] married Salome Kinsey, whose mother had been stolen by the hostile Indians, prior to the War of the Revolution, and had lived in captivity seven years, but had been restored to her friends by a treaty of peace, and married Kinsey, whose daughter Salome now became the second wife of John Caylor.

The birthdate of Eva Wampler has been reported in various marriage records as 1737 or 1749. Eve Wampler and Henry Kinsey were reportedly married. [2] [3] [4]

1809 Henry Kinsey of Virginia received a patent from Thomas Jefferson for land in Montgomery County, Ohio. [6]

1809 Henry Kinsey and wife Eve sold land to Daniel Repp, all of Montgomery County, Ohio. The deed was dated June 17 and was witnessed by Daniel Miller, John Bowman, and Abraham Hildebrand. [7]

1810 Henry Kinzey was taxed in Jefferson Twp, Montgomery County, Ohio. [8]

1814 Henry Kinsey and wife Eve sold land to Henry Goodlander, all of Montgomery County, Ohio. The deed was dated June 17 and was witnessed by William Gillespie and John Talkish. [9]

1816-1817 The tax records for Jefferson Twp, Montgomery County, Ohio listed the following:

Peter Heckman was taxed for two tracts, both originally owned by Henry Kinzy. [10] [11]

Samuel and Jacob Keller were taxed. [12] [13]

John and Abram Kinzy were taxed on tracts originally owned by Henry Kinzy. [14] [15]

Daniel Repp was taxed on a tract originally owned by Henry Kinzy. [16] [17]

John Reddick was taxed on a tract originally owned by Henry Kinzy. [18] [19]

Jacob Wolf was taxed on a tract originally owned by Henry Kinzy. [20] The 1817 record also includes a listing on a tract originally owned by Leonard Wolf. [21]

1820 Henry Kinsey lived in Jefferson Twp, Montgomery County, Ohio in a household with males: 1 (45 and over); and females: 1 (26 thru 44). [22] Sons-in-law Peter Hickman, John Reddick and Jacob Wolf and perhaps sons John Hinsey and Abram Hinsey were all listed on the same page of the census.

1820 Peter Hickman lived in Jefferson Twp, Montgomery County, Ohio in a household with males: 3 (under 10), 1 (10 thru 15), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 5 (under 10), 1 (10 thru 15), and 1 (26 thru 44). [23]

1820 John Redick lived in Jefferson Twp, Montgomery County, Ohio in a household with males: 3 (under 10) and 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 2 (under 10), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (26 thru 44). [24]

1820 John Reddick lived in Centre Twp, Indiana County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 3 (under 10), 1 (10 thru 15), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 2 (10 thru 15) and 1 (26 thru 44). [25]

1821 A Findagrave memorial reports [with no documentation]: Eva Wampler Kinsey died on March 13, 1821 and was buried at Kinsey-Wolf Family Cemetery, Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio. Eva Wampler Kinsey was born on June 2, 1739. The Findagrave memorial reported that Eva Wampler Kinsey died at Montgomery County, Ohio. [26]

1823 Abraham Kinsey, John Kinsey, and Elizabeth Kinsey were taxed in Jefferson Twp, Montgomery County, Ohio. [27]

1823 The heirs of Henry Kinsey signed a deed in Montgomery County, Ohio. The heirs were Abraham Kinsey, John Kinsey, Jacob Wolf and wife Hannah (Kinsey), John Redick and Susanna (Kinsey), Peter Heckman and wife Mary (Kinsey), and widow Salome Keller (late Kinsey). The deed was dated on April 23. [28]

1824 Abraham Kinsey, John Kinsey, and Elizabeth Kinsey were taxed in Jefferson Twp, Montgomery County, Ohio. [29]

1824 Jacob Wolf was taxed in Jefferson Twp, Montgomery County, Ohio. [30]

1830 Widow Wampler lived in Jefferson Twp, Montgomery County, Ohio in a household with females: 2 (under 5), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (20 thru 29). [31]

1830 John Reduk lived in Jefferson Twp, Montgomery County, Ohio in a household with males: 2 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (40 thru 49); and females: 1 (under 5), 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (40 thru 49). [32]

1840 John Redick lived in Centre Twp, Rush County, Indiana in a household with males: 1 (5 thru 9), 2 (10 thru 14), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (60 thru 69); and females: 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (60 thru 69). [33]

1850 Susanna Reddick (age 63, born in Virginia) lived in Center Twp, Rush County, Indiana, in a household with John Reddick (age 64), Daniel Reddick (age 21), William Reddick (age 18), and Catharine Reddick (age 16). [34]

1852 Susannah Reddick died on May 15, 1852 (aged 64y 11m 24d) and was buried at Reddick Cemetery, Rush County, Indiana. [35]

1840 Jacob Wolf lived in Montgomery County, Ohio in a household with males: 1 (20 thru 29) and 1 (60 thru 69); and females: 1 (under 5), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (40 thru 49). John Kinsey was listed adjacent. [40]

Some researchers report that Jacob Wolfe (1772-1849) was buried at Shepherd Cemetery, Sullivan County, Indiana.

Some researchers name Jacob Wolf (July 26, 1772-March 23, 1846), born in Frederick County, Virginia and died in Greene County, Indiana, as a spouse of Hannah Vance and Mary English. [41]
