1895 A souvenir for the Burr Oak school in Noble County listed Corvin John and sister Mabel and Orvin (Henry) on the student list. 1897 School enumeration records for Noble Twp in Noble Co listed Corvin John's mother Julia Holser [sic] with children Orvin 16, Corvin 16, and Mabel 10.

1898 CJ Rivir graduated from Noble High school. [2]

1898 Burr Oak "Orvin and John Rivir made a trip to Alvordton, Ohio, last week on their wheels where they visited their uncle, Levi Hosler, had other friends." [3] [4]

1900 Eli Rivir and Julia lived in Liberty Twp, Wabash County, Indiana. The twins, Orvin and Corvin, and daughter Mabel (age 13) lived with them and attended school. [5] [6]

1906-7 C.J. (and Dell) Rivir sold farming implements and lived at 204 n Western ave, Marion, Indiana. [7]

1908 C.J. Rivir was listed in Pleasant Twp, RFD 2, Marion, Indiana. [8]

1909 Corvin Warren Rivir, son of John Rivir and Della Simmons, was born on October 7 in Pleasant, Grant County, Indiana. [9]

1909 Corvin W Rivir died on October 8. Corvin W Rivir was buried in Indiana. He was born on October 7, 1909. [10] [11] [12]

1909 "John Rivir and wife, of near Marion, were visiting relatives in and near this place last week." [13] [14]

1910 John C Rivir (age 29, born in Indiana, married for 7 years) lived in Liberty Twp, Wabash County, Indiana, in a household with Della Rivir (age 30), and Mary J Rivir (age 6). John C Rivir's father was born in Pennsylvania and his mother was born in Ohio. John C Rivir could read and write. John C Rivir's occupation was farmer, own account. [15]

1918 Corvin John Rivir registered for the draft in Wabash County, Indiana. Corvin was born December 25, 1880. Corvin Rivir was a farmer and lived in LaFontaine, Wabash County, Indiana. His closest relative was Della Rivir. Corvin Rivir was short, of medium build, with gray eyes and brown hair. [16] [17]

1920 Corvin J River (age 39, born in Indiana, married) lived in Liberty Twp, Wabash County, Indiana, in a household with Doris River (age 41), and Mary J River (age 15). Corvin J River's father was born in Virginia and his mother was born in Ohio. Corvin J River's occupation was farmer, Rented Farm, own account. [18]

1930 Corvin J Rivir (born in Indiana, married, first married at age 22) lived in Liberty Twp, Wabash County, Indiana, in a household with Della Rivir (age 51), Irvin Wilson (age 37), Mary J Wilson (age 26), Meriam L Stevens (age 9), and Mary J Stevens (age 5). Corvin J Rivir's father was born in Pennsylvania and his mother was born in Indiana. Corvin J Rivir's occupation was farmer, working on own account. Corvin J Rivir's residence was on a farm. The residence did not have a radio. [19] Irvin and Mary J Wilson lived next door with grand-daughters Miriam L and Mary J Stevens.

1940 Corvin J River (age 59, born in Indiana, married) lived in Lancaster Twp, Huntington County, Indiana, in a household with Della Rivir (age 61). Corvin J River's occupation was farmer, working on own account. Corvin J River's residence was on a farm. The highest grade of school he had completed was Elementary school, 8th grade. [20]

1942 John Corvin Rivir's World War II registration card listed birthdate 25 Dec 1880 in Noble County, Indiana. He was a farmer married to Della Rivir. They lived at R 6, Huntington, Huntington, Indiana. [21]

1965 Della Rivir, daughter of Charles W Simmons and Mary Jane Renbarger, and wife of Corvin John Rivir, died on May 23 at Friendly Nursing Home, in Wabash, Wabash County, Indiana. [22] [23] [24]

1966 Corvin J Rivir, son of Eli Rivir and Julia Ann Hosler, died at Methodist Memorial Home, Huntington, Indiana. He was a farmer, widowed, and had lived in Warren, Huntington County for 25 years. [25]

1966 "John died 5 pm" "Verda and I made plans to go to funeral Sunday (June 10)". "Left for Verda's am Funeral 9:30. Had dinner at restaurant - visiting- C Ott - Iva Baughman". [26] Corvin Rivir died in Illinois. He last lived in Huntington, Indiana. [27]

1966 Corvin John Rivir (1880 - 1966) died and was buried at La Fontaine IOOF Cemetery, La Fontaine, Wabash County, Indiana. Birthdate reported as 25 December, 1880 and death date reported as 9 June, 1966. [28] [29]
