Research Notes:

A biosketch reports [11]:

Another theory has been brought forth that suggests that Joseph Parker was the son of George and Sarah Parker. George and Sarah Parker had a son Joseph who was born in 1671. This Joseph, however, married Hannah Wright July 4, 1704 in the Burlington Monthly Meeting. This is perhaps the least plausible of all the explanations that have been proposed. If this were truly our Joseph Parker he would have been over one hundred years old when he died. In an age where the average life span was far less than our own today, it is highly unlikely that these two individuals are one in the same.

1682 The appointment of Joseph Parker to lay out highways, passages, ferries, and to make bridges in Monmouth County, New Jersey was continued. [12]

1682-1702 Joseph Parker was the tax assessor for Monmouth county. [13]

1687 John Worthly had land at Goode Neck adjacent to Joseph Parker. [14]
