1694/95 On 16 of month 1, Elizabeth Scholey, daughter of Thomas and Sarah Scoley was born in Chesterfield, Burlington County, New Jersey. [1]

1723 Richard Brown, Asher Clayton, and William Wood made the inventory for the estate of Elizabeth's father, Thomas Schooley. [2]

1725 On May 27, Samuel Schooley [Elizabeth's brother?] and Avis Holloway were married. Witnessed by Elizabeth Schooley, Benjamin Busson, and others. [3] [4]

1730/31 On 4 of month 1, Benjamin Busson and Elizabeth Scholey, of this meeting (Chesterfield), declared their intention to marry. [5]

1735 A report at the Chesterfield meeting indicated that Benjamin Busson and his wife are in great need of some relief by reason of sickness. [6]

Research Notes:

1760 Richard Brown was the executor for Preserve Brown, who died 5 mo., 22, 1760. [7] [8]

Some researchers have reported that this Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas and Sarah (Parker) Scholey, married Richard Brown, date not given. We seek evidence to clarify this possibility. Documents and other researchers report that Elizabeth Parker, daughter of George Parker and Sarah Smith, married Richard Brown. [9]
