1852 Lydia Pence and William Carroll were appointed administrators of the estate of Abraham Pence in Gilmer County, Georgia. Aaron Sheriff also provided security. Dated June 7. [2]

1852 The inventory for the estate of Abraham Pence was filed in Gilmer County, Georgia, dated on June 17, 1852. The inventory was filed by Peter Miller, Abner Waters, Nicholas Osborn, and Jonathan Withrow. The inventory listed notes of hand on Watson Wills, Samuel Plemons, Holomon Bennet, and Hiram P Wells. William Carroll and Lydia Pence were named as administrators. [3]

1854 Lydia Pence and Aaron Sheriff posted bond in Gilmer County, Georgia, for the guardianship of the children of Abraham Pence, deceased. Lydia was appointed guardian of Calvin, Nelson, Upson, Marion, James, Lydia, and Triplet Pence, orphans of Abraham Pence deceased. Dated March 6. [5]

1860 Phidelia P Carroll (age 29, born in North Carolina) lived in Subdivision 33, Gilmer County, Georgia, in a household with Caroline Carroll, William E Carroll (age 7), Lidia R Carroll (age 5), Esther L Carroll (age 4), Jasper A Carroll (age 2), Lorenzo J Carroll (age 1), and Calven Pence (age 26). Phidelia P Carroll was a farmer. [7]

1899 Rev Phidellia Patton Carroll Sr. died on December 31 at Mountaintown, Gilmer County, Georgia. Rev Phidellia Patton Carroll Sr. was born on October 17, 1831. [8][9]

Rev. Phidellia Patton Carroll, Sr. was the son of William A. Carroll. He was the husband of Caroline (Pence) Carroll. He was a minister in the Georgia Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

Calven Pence was a farm hand. [10]

1862 Sgt Calvin W. Pence died on April 25 in Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia of America. Sgt Calvin W. Pence was born in 1835 in Habersham County, Georgia, United States of America, child of Abraham Darly Pence and Lydia Pence. [11]
