1850 Adaline Wolff (age 7, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Greene Twp, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Jacob Wolff (age 37), Mary Wolff (age 38), Susannah Wolff (age 10), Amanda Wolff (age 9), and Sarah E Wolff (age 4). [1]

1860 Adaline Wolff (age 16, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Keithsburg Twp, Mercer County, Illinois, in a household with Jacob Wolff (age 46), Mary Wolff (age 47), and Sarah Wolff (age 14). Adaline Wolff's occupation was domestic. [2]

1870 Ada Logan (age 25, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Abingdon Twp, Mercer County, Illinois, in a household with William Logan (age 27), and James B Logan (age 9/12). William Logan was a farmer. [3] [4]

1880 Adaline Logan (age 36, born in Pennsylvania), wife, lived in Abington Twp, Mercer County, Illinois, in a household with William Logan (age 37), James Logan (age 10), William Logan (age 9), Rilla Logan (age 6), and cousin Agnes Wolfe (age 18). Adaline Logan's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. [5] [6]

1890 A Civil War pension record named William H Logan with service in C. 116 & H 150, Ind. Inf. Adaline Logan was his dependent. [7]

1893 James B Logan and Bertha A Reeder were married on September 13, 1893, in Fremont County, Nebraska. James B Logan was a child of Wm Logan and Adaline Logan. [8] [9]

1900 Adelene Logan (born in Pennsylvania in Aug 1843), wife, lived in Keithsburg Twp, Mercer County, Illinois, in a household with Wm H Logan (age 57), Wm J Logan (age 29), Edwin J Logan (age 15), daughter-in-law Bertha R Logan (age 28), and grand-daughter Florence Logan (age 5). Adalene had had 4 children, of whom 3 were still living. Adelene Logan's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. [10] [11]

1907 Edwin A Logan and Cora A Schlenker were married on November 28, 1907, in Madison County, Iowa. Edwin A Logan was a child of W H Logan and Adeline Wolfe. [12] [13]

1910 Adaline and William had been married for 43 years. Florence Logan (age 15, born in Illinois), granddaughter, lived in Keithsburg Ward 3 Twp, Mercer County, Illinois, in a household with William H Logan (age 67), and Adeline Logan (age 66). Florence Logan's father was born in Illinois and her mother was born in Iowa. [14] [15]

1920 Wm H Logan (age 76, born in Indiana) lived in Keithsburg Twp, Mercer County, Illinois, in a household with Adaline Logan (age 76). Wm H Logan's parents were both born in Ohio. Wm H Logan could read and write. [16] [17]

1923 William Henry Logan, son of John Logan and Martha McClare, died on March 30, 1923 at Keithsburg, Mercer County, Illinois. He was born on February 19, 1843 in Indiana. He was a retired farmer. [18]

1930 Adaline Logan (age 86, born in Pennsylvania, widowed, first married at age 23) lived in Keithsburg, Mercer County, Illinois, in a household with Rilla Bever (age 55). Adaline Logan's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Adaline Logan's residence was not a farm. The residence did not have a radio. [20]

1935 Son William J Logan died on December 15 and was buried at Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. William J Logan was born on January 27, 1871. [21] [22]

Keithsburg Resident, 93, Who Was Honorary Guard for Lincoln, Dies

Mrs. Adeline Logan Succumbs; Was Oldest Person in Community

Keithsburg. Ill. June 2.(Argus News Service) Mrs. Adaline Logan, 93, Keithsburg's oldest resident, died at 8:50 o'clock yesterday mornlng in the same little grey house on Washington street that was erected by her pioneer parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wolf, when they came to Keithsburg In 1856. Her fatal illness began a few months ago, although sge had been in poor health the past few years.

Mr. Logan enjoyed life and the pleasures it afforded despite her advanced age. She was well known for her accumulation of memories, many of which were unusual. She often told of being one of an honorary guard of young women for Abraham Lincoln at the time the Civil war president made a public appearance at Oquawka, Ill. She ate dinner with Lincoln on that occasion. It was at this event that she met William H. Logen. a Civil war veteran, to whom she waa married on Jan. 1, 1867.

Mrs. Logan waa born In Pennsylvania on Aug. 13, 1843. She came to Keithsburg with her parents at the age of 13 and bad since lived here or in this vicnlty. After her marriage to William Logan, she and her husband lived on a farm in the Belmont neighborhood for many years. Upon retirement she and her husband moved to the home Mr. Logan's parents had built in Keithsburg.

Active in Church Work.

Mrs. Logan was a member of the Keithsburg Methodist church and of several of the church societies. The last time she attended church was the day she celebrated her 90th birthday anniversary. She had always been active in church work.

Her husband died on March 30, 1923. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rilla Bever, who lived with her mother and cared for her In her late years; a son, Edwin of Monmouth, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Two sons preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Keithsburg Methodist church, with the Rev. Eddy McOmber. pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Greenmound cemetery, Keithsburg.

1949 Rilla Bever, widowed, died on September 22, at age 75, in Keokuk, Lee County, Iowa. She was born on August 7, 1874, in Seaton, Illinois, daughter of William H Logan and Adeline Logan. [27]

1949 Daughter Mary Urilla Logan Bever was buried at Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, Lee County, Iowa. [28] [29]
