1732 James Schooley was born in Bethlehem township of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. [1] [2]

1765 On 8th of the 8th Mo, James Schooley was conceded permission to marry according to records of the Kingwood Friends Meetings. His bride's name was not recorded. [3] [4]

1767 The will of James Schooley, of Newton, Sussex County, New Jersey, was dated April 20. Int. Administrator: Samuel Schooley, of said place. Fellowbondsman: Josiah Dyer, of Hardwick, said Co. Witness: John Pettit. 1767, April 20. Renunciation by Margaret Schooley, widow of James. Witnesses: Benjamin Schooley and Josiah Dyer, Jr. 1767, April 13. Inventory, £86.16.2, made by Jacob Lundy, Samuel Lundy and Benjamin Schooley. [5] [6] [7] [8]

1769 The account by Adm'r was dated April 12. Money was paid to Avis Schooley, William Schooley and Asa Schooley. [9]
