1823 Samuel Wickel and Ester Bandy were married on October 6, 1823, in Haywood County, North Carolina. [1] [2] [3]

1830 Samuel Wikle lived in Macon County, North Carolina in a household with males: 1 (under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (30 thru 39); and females: 3 (under 5) and 1 (30 thru 39). [4]

1832 Samuel Weigel, of Berwick township, served the November term of the grand jury in Adams County. [5]

1835-36 Samuel Weigle, perhaps this one, and Jacob Hare were constables of Berwick Twp. [6]

1840 Samuel Wickle lived in Cherokee County, North Carolina in a household with males: 1 (under 5), 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (40 thru 49); and females: 2 (under 5), 3 (5 thru 9), 3 (10 thru 14), and 1 (40 thru 49). [7]

1844 Margaret Weigle (Samuel's mother), of Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania, "being infirmly unable to do and transact my business", gave power of attorney to Samuel Weigle of New Oxford, Adams County, Pennsylvania. Witnessed by Wm Albright and Michl Bucher. Dated April 1. [8] New Oxford is a borough in Oxford Twp. Oxford Twp was part of Berwick Twp until 1847. [9]

1844 Samuel Weikle, of Berwick township, served the January term of the grand jury in Adams County. [10]

1849 Samuel Weigle posted his farm of 118 acres with an orchard and streams on the road between Middleton and Sarbaugh's mill in Menallen Twp for sale. [11]

1850 Esther Wikle (age 49, born in South Carolina) lived in District 10, Campbell County, Georgia, in a household with Elizabeth M Wikle (age 21), Charity M Wikle (age 20), Susannah J Wikle (age 19), Mary M Wikle (age 17), Annah C Wikle (age 15), Nancy A Wikle (age 13), Hester E Wikle (age 11), Samuel M Wikle (age 11), and Jno M Wikle (age 9). [12]

1860 E Wackle (age 60, born in South Carolina) lived in Kaufman Twp, Kaufman County, Texas, in a household with Susan J Wackle (age 28), Nancy A Wackle (age 23), Samuel M Wackle (age 21), and John M Wackle (age 18). [13]

1875 Esther "Easter" Bandy Wikle died on January 5, 1875 and was buried at Lone Oak Cemetery Kaufman County, Texas. No grave marker photo is shown at the memorial. [14]
