1587/88 Robert Baxter died on January 16 in Clerkington, Sheriffdom of Edinburgh, Scotland. [1]

1588 The testament dative and inventory of Robert Baxter of Clarkingtoun, sheriffdom of Edinburgh, was recorded on April 20 in the Edinburgh Commissary Court. He died on the "xvj day of Januarye ye yeir of god JM vc lxxxvij" (16 January 1587/88). The inventory was "maid and gevin vp be Catrene Ra his relict spous In name and behalf of Jane Margaret Johnne Ro[ber]t Wm Alex & Cathrene Baxter ye lawfull bairns ..." [2]

1595 Robert Baxter, son to the late Robert Baxter, in Clerkintoun, started an apprenticeship with John Lowis, armourer, in Edinburgh on May 13, 1595. [3]

1596 Catherene Ra died on May 28 in Clerkington, Sheriffdom of Edinburgh, Scotland. [4]

1597/98 The testament testamentar and inventory of Katherene Ra, sometime spouse to Adam Broun, in Clerkingtoun, sheriffdom of Edinburgh, was recorded on March 6 in the Edinburgh Commissary Court. [5]

1599 William Baxter, son to the late Robert Baxter, in Clerkington, started an apprenticeship with John Callendar, armourer, in Edinburgh on April 24. [6]
