Research Notes:
Chronologically and geographically, the couple in the following burial records are potentially plausible parents for Thomas Roote and/or John Roote of Milton Malsor.
1561 "Elnor Roote the wyffe of Lawrence Roote was buried the xxth daye of October. [1]
1564 "Lawrence Roote was buried the xxiiijth daye of November" in Milton Malsor, Northamptonshire, England. [2]
The records provide no indication of the ages at death of either Elnor or Lawrence.
Thomas Roote named a daughter Elynor, and in the next generation, John Roote, likely a son of John Roote of Milton Malsor, named a son Lawrence.
