We are researching Meribah Curtis, daughter of David Curtis and Meribah Herbert.
1777 On May 5, Humphrey Williams and Meribah Curtis stated their intentions to marry, to the Shrewsbury meeting in Monmouth. William had consent of his parents and they are desired to get the consent of her step-mother. [1]
1777 On June 2, Humphrey Williams produced a paper from Sarah Curtis setting forth that she had no objections to her daughter-in-laws marriage. [2]
1777 Humphrey Williams and Meribah Curtis, both of Shrewsbury, were married on June 12, 1777, at the Shrewsbury meeting house, Monmouth County, New Jersey. [3]
