Ralph son of Ralph de Latthebury. Writ, 22 June, 19 Edward II. Derby. Inq. Saturday after SS. Peter and Paul, 19 Edward II. Hethouses. 205. yearly rent held of the king as of the honour of Tuttebury, now in the king's hand through the forfeiture of Thomas late earl of Lancaster, by service of lib. cummin to be paid to the castle of Tuttebury. Eginton. A capital messuage, 30a. arable, 6a. meadow, a fourth part of a water-mill, and 51. rent, and 205. yearly rent in Ambaldston, held of Ralph Frechevill and his heirs by service of -½ knight's fee. "Ralph de Frecheville, s. and h., by 1st wife. He inherited Palterton, by the grant made in 1311. He m. Isabel, da.,of Sir William de Grey, of Sandiacre, co. Derby. After her death he entered the House of the Grey Friars at Nottingham, where he professed religion and lived for many years." [2]
