"Ralph de Frecheville, s. and h., by 1st wife. He inherited Palterton, by the grant made in 1311. He m. Isabel, da.,of Sir William de Grey, of Sandiacre, co. Derby. After her death he entered the House of the Grey Friars at Nottingham, where he professed religion and lived for many years." [2]
