1935 John T. Berry, tire builder, is listed with his brother Joseph H. Berry, draftsman, his mother Mrs. Theodore P. Berry, widow, and his aunt Miss Mary A. Harte, bookkeeper, in the 1935 list of electors in the electoral district of Hamilton East in Ontario. They lived at 535 Main E., apt. 2. [1]

1938 John Theodore Berry and May Gertrude Woolly were married in Sarnia on October 22. "Persian Blue Gown For Sarnia Bride. May Gertrude Woolly Bride of John T. Berry in Saturday Ceremony. Motor Trip East. A pretty wedding took place in Central United Church, Sarnia, on Saturday, when Miss May Gertrude Woolly, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Woolly, Sarnia, was married to Mr. John Theodore Berry of Hamilton. Rev. J. J. Courter officiated and Mr. G. Colebrook was at the organ. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of Persian peacock blue ribbed taffeta, made in hoop style, with matching velvet ruching outlining the tiered skirt. The square neckline was outlined in blue net, and decorated with blue velvet roses. A French taffeta halo held her finger-tip veil, and she carried an arm bouquet of rapture roses and heather sent from Scotland. Miss Ella Adlington of Sarnia was her attendant, and Mr. William Stewart of Hamilton was groomsman. The soloist was Mr. Trevor Cordey. Following a reception at the Vendome Hotel, Mr. and Mrs. Berry left for a motor trip to Eastern Ontario, and on their return will live in Hamilton." [2]

1940 John T. Berry, tire builder, and Mrs. John T. Berry are listed in the 1940 list of electors in the electoral district of Hamilton East in the city of Hamilton, Ontario. Their address was 540 King Street East, Apt. 6c. [3]

1964 John Theodore Berry died in Burlington, Ontario, on July 5. "Berry, John Theodore Suddenly, at his residence, 5153 Mulberry Drive, Burlington, Ont., on Sunday, July 5, 1964, John T. Berry, beloved husband of May Woolly, dear father of Ted and Ruth, at home and Mrs. Frank Bozel (Margaret) Burlington, one grandson, Peter, also survives. Resting at Smith's Funeral Home, 485 Brant Street, Burlington, for service on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully declined." [4]
