Susanna Sherk, daughter of Jacob Sherk and Mary Lichty, married Andrew Gerber, son of Christian and Catherine Gerber. [1]

1795 The six heirs of Jacob Sherk, deceased, signed a release related to his estate, on August 1. The estate, administered by Joseph Sherck, Henry Neff, and Andrew Gerber, was valued at £2979.18.3 in gold and silver coin, or £423.19.9 for each heir. Andrew Gerber was guardian of minor son, Christian Sherck. [4] The six heirs were:

Jacob Sherck of Leacock Twp;
John Sherch of Washington County, Maryland;
David Sherck of Hempfield,
David Rohrer of Hempfield Twp and his wife Mary, late Mary Sherck; and

1798 Andrew Garber owned a dwelling in York County, Pennsylvania. [5] The tract of Andrew Garber was valued at $33.25. [6] The house of Andrew Gerber was wooden, dimension 22 by 24 feet, one story, with 3 windows (36 lights), on a 2 acre tract, valued at $200. [7] Andrew Gerber had a barn and 250 acres adjoining Daniel Beidleron. [8]

1800 Andrew Garber lived in Hellam Twp, York County, Pennsylvania with son age 0-10 and son age 10-15, 3 females age 0-10 and female age 26-44 and female age 45+. [9]

1800 Andrew Gerber was taxed in Hellam Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [10]

1807 Andrew Garber, farmer, was taxed in Hellam Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [11]

1810 Andrew Gerber lived in Hellam Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with with Males: 1 (age 0-10), 1 (age 16-25), 1 (age 45+); and Females: 1 (age 10-15), 1 (age 26-44). [12]

1820 Andrew Gerber lived in Hellam Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [13]

1829 Andrew Gerber reportedly died and was buried at Gerber Burial Ground, Hallam, York County, Pennsylvania. [14]

1830 Jacob Garver, perhaps their son, lived in Hellam Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with Males 1 (age 15-20, ?), 1 (age 20-30, Jacob?); and Females 1 (age 30-40, Nancy or Catherine?), 1 (age 60-70, widow Susanna?). [15]

Susanna Gerber died and was buried at Gerber Burial Ground, Hallam, York County, Pennsylvania. [16]

1845 The children of Susanna Garber, deceased, daughter of Jacob Shereck the elder, were named in the estate settlement of Susan Garber's brother, Jacob Sherk, the younger, of Hempfield Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The descendants were Jacob Garber, Catharine Strickler, Jacob Strickler and Nancy his wife, Joseph Detweiller and Susan his wife. [17]

A different Andrew Garber, married to Maria Nolt, lived in Hempfield Twp, Lancaster County, with Lancaster County will U-466 1/2.
