1868 Rachel Knapp, wife of John R. Knapp, died on November 6 in Stowe, Lamoille County, Vermont, age 76 years, 3 months. She was buried in Riverbank Cemetery in Stowe. [3] Another death record, for "Mrs. Knapp," lists the same death date and town but states her age as 76 years, 4 months, her birth place as Deerfield, New Hampshire, her father's name as S. Ferrnnel (or Fermnel?), and the cause of death as Dropsy. [4]
1870 On August 11, John R. Knapp (age 72) lived in Stowe, Lamoille, Vermont. His occupation was blacksmith. [5]
1885 John R. Knapp died December 4 at age 88 in Stowe, Lamoille, Vermont. His occupation was blacksmith. [6]
