Research Notes:

1678 On 14 June, John Bayles of Jamaica, Long Island, New York, sold a home lot with dwelling barn and orchard to Jonathan Stevenson of Jamaica. [1]

1684 On 16 July, the estate of Thomas Allen, of Burlington, shoemaker, was administered. Bond of Mary Allen, his widow, as administratrix of the estate, with Jonathan Stephenson, of the same place, carpenter, as fellow bondsman. 1683 April 28. Inventory of the estate (£27.18.2), made by Tho. Revell, Richard Love and Edward Everett. [2]

1684 Jonathan Stevenson married Mary Allen on July 17, 1684 in Burlington County, New Jersey. [3] [4]

1686-87 On 18 March, Jonathan Stevenson, brother-in-law, [sold land] to Daniel Whitehead of Jamaica, now of Jamaica. [5]

1686 Jonathan Stevenson was a grantee in Newtown, Long Island for a new town charter. [6]

1689 Jonathan Stevenson died in November 1689. [7]
