1776 George Bullock, of New Hanover (son of Joseph and Elizabeth), and Edith Wood, of Chesterfield, dau. of William and Hannah, married at Springfield. 7th 2d mo. 1776. Witnesses: Joseph, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Jr., Susannah, Jemima and Rebekah Bullock, William, Hannah, Polly, Ann and John Wood, Anthony and Margaret Bullock, Joseph Newbold, Cleayton Newbold and others. [1] [2] [3] Their children William, Joseph, Margaret, and Hannah were named on an undated list of members of the Upper Freehold particular meeting. [4]

1777 George Bullock, perhaps this one, had a son born on November 13, in Burlington County, New Jersey. [5]

1778 John Abbott and Susannah Bullock of New Hanover Twp, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth, married at Upper Freehold meeting 17th, 9th month, 1778. Witnesses George and Edith Bullock and others. [6]

1780 Joseph Bullock Jr and Lydia Lawrie were married on March 16, at Chesterfield. Witnesses: George and Edith Bullock, and others. [7]

1782 George and Edith Bullock and children William, Joseph, Margaret, and Hannah were members at Upper Freehold meeting, Burlington County, New Jersey. [8] [9]

1783 George and Edith Bullock and children William, Joseph, Margaret, and Hannah, the latter lately deceased, were received at the Philadelphia northern district monthly meeting from the Upper Springfield meeting, Burlington County, New Jersey. Relation Ann Wood was also received. Dated 24 of month 6. [10]

1794 George Bullock and Joseph Olden made the inventory for the estate of Isaac Clarke of Windsor Twp, Middlesex County, New Jersey. [11]

1805 Ann Rickey, daughter of John and Amy Rickey, and Joseph Abbott, all of Nottingham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey, were married on 7 of month 3, in Trenton New Jersey. George Bullock and many others witnessed the marriage. [12]

1822 Margaret Bullock, daughter of Anthony and Hannah Bullock, and Edward P Atlee were married on October 11, in Arneytown, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Witnessed by George and Edith W Bullock, and many others. [13]

Research Notes:

1814 George Bullock died on August 16, in New Jersey. [14] George Bullock was reported buried at Stony Brook Quaker Meeting House Burial Ground, Princeton, Mercer County, New Jersey. [15]

Names 4 children; William, Joseph, Margaret, and Hannah; and move to Philadelphia 1783. Names 3 wards named Wood living with them. [16]

Marriage abstract. Gives birth and death dates of both spouses and names and birthdates of 5 children. 1790 certificate from Philadelphia to Chesterfield, Burlington. [17]
