Samuel Forrsy for thirty-five years a resident of this county died at the home of his son Samuel Forrey Jr at 31 American Street this morning at 3:40 o’clook aged 70 years. Funeral services will be held at the house Sunday morning at 7 o'clock the Rev. Carl Houser to officiate.

Mr Forrey was born in York county Pa in 1830, and lived there until 1865 when he came west and settled in Florence township, where he was engaged in farming until seven years ago at which time he come to this city to live with his son. He was well known and highly respected. He is survived by two sons Samuel of this city and R. Forrey of Dakota township.

1917 Samuel Silvester Forry, son of Samuel Forry and Lydia Reigard (both parents born in York County, Pennsylvania), died on March 29, at Freeport, Stephenson, Illinois. [9]

1917 Samuel S Forry (1854-1917) and wife Sarah (1859-1948) were buried at Freeport City Cemetery, Freeport, Stephenson County, Illinois. [10]

1935 Rudolph Forry, son of Samuel Forry and Lidia Richert (both born in York County, Pennsylvania), died on September 15, at Florence, Stephenson County, Illinois. [11]

1945 Maria (Klipping) Forry, spouse of Rudolph Forry, died on October 13, at Florence, Stephenson County, Illinois. [12]
